One whole week has passed in the new year. I had a wonderful 2015. There were so many things and events I was thankful for in 2015. I wouldn’t think twice before saying that 2015 was the best year of my life. I hope this year is as good as last year. Finally I am sitting down and writing my 2016 goals before it feels too late. This year I was very excited for the new year to begin. I, probably for the first time, have thought about how I want this year to be. I am not a believer, or I should say, follower of New Year’s resolutions, but I do have a few goals that I want to achieve this year, both personally and for my blog.
I don’t mean go to the gym 5- 6 times a week, though I would definitely want to exercise more and get into a fitness routine. But this year, I want to eat more healthy, home cooked meals. Lets face it, no one is getting younger, we do need to take extra care of what we are putting inside our body as we grow older. I also want to do yoga, not only for physical fitness purposes, but yoga also helps in keeping your mind healthy.
I want to stop being lazy when it comes to my beauty routine. There are a lot of days when I don’t remove makeup and just go to sleep without washing my face.
I have a certain target in mind that I want to achieve this year in terms of number of followers for my blog and also for my social media. I want to stick to my schedule of blogging 3 to 4 times a week.
Life and other bits
I want to get back into reading. I used to love reading and would read a lot of different kinds of books. But now I take forever to complete one small book. The one thing that I really want to do this year is to learn photography. I use my husband’s DSLR camera for my blog photos but I know absolutely nothing about the ISO or shutter speed or whatever other things are there. I am thinking of maybe enrolling myself for a weekend photography class.
I’d love to hear if we share any common New Year’s resolutions.
