Binge watching Gilmore Girls up until wee hours in the morning ? Or a few drinks with co-workers after hours turned into a late night drinking sesh? And now you’ve got dark bag under your eyes. We have all been there, havent we? So here are a few hacks that will help you cover up those pesky black bags.
Double up on the pillow – Contrary to what you must have heard, sleeping on two pillow actually prevent fluid build up under your eyes. So goodbye puffy eyes!
Almond Oil – It contains vitamin A which is found in retinoids. Just taking a few drops on your fingertips and gently massaging the area will help keep your eyes moisturizer and soft.
Black Tea – The caffeine in a strong bag of black tea will help reduce the swelling and dark circles. Brew up two bags of tea and place them over your eyes for a few minutes.
Aloe Vera – It has anti-inflammatory properties and helps reduce and improves circulation. Keep an Aloe Vera leaf in the fridge overnight, slice it open in the morning and apply the gel with your fingertips.
Watch your diet – Avoid salty food. Excess salt leads to water retention and then puffiness. Eat your green. Vitamin K found in green veggies eases blood flow and hence reduces build-up around the eyes.
Color Correct – If everything fails, just pick up a red corrector and hide those under eye circles. Brighten up the area with a light concealer or a brightener. But remember to apply it in triangle shape to brighten the entire area.
