I love bedtime. Well, who doesn’t? It is that time where all my makeup is off (usually), I am in my PJs, watching some episodes with my husband and unwinding my mind from the usual hectic and stressful day. I have a mini bedtime routine, which just helps me sleep better at night and just simply relaxes me.
I get into bed with a cup of tea, usually chamomile and light a candle. I always have my To-Do list or my planner on my bedside table. I make a list of things I need to get done the next day. If I need to take photos for a blog post, I write down the products I will feature in the post. It just helps me stay more organized.
I then spritz on the This Works’ Deep Sleep Pillow Spray. It has the most soothing and calming lavender like scent. At night, I like to give my feet some TLC. I apply The Body Shop’s Wild Argan Body Butter and give them sort of a mini massage focusing on the pressure points.
I always have a lip balm and a hand cream on my bedside table. I recently purchased the Vaseline Lip Therapy Lip Balm. My lips are extremely dry so I always moisturize them before sleeping. One of my favourite hand creams in the Loccitane Arlesienen Hand Crème.
I then like to apply the Kama Ayurveda’s Rheumaheal Ayurvedic Pain Balm on my neck and shoulders because I have recently developed some back problem. It just eases the pain.
Night time is the only time I get to read a book or catch up on my favourite youtubers. So while my husband is watching something on the TV, I like to catch up on my reading. I then put on some videos on my ipad and doze off to sleep while watching.
