Benefit Watt’s Up! Highlighter

I had been on the look out for a good highlighter since a lot time. I did a lot of rounds in and out of Sephora, then MAC. I really liked this one from the first try, however, the price kept me back from buying it instantly. But then I decided to take the plunge. By the way Benefit products get full marks for their catchy names.

Benefit Watts up

Watt’s up is a cream-to-powder finish highlighter. It comes in a stick form with the highlighter on one end and a sponge applicator on the other end.

It gives a soft champagne-like glow to your face. It has soft beige and pink undertones. It is not shimmery but it gives a nice sheen to the area where applied. The product is quite pigmented yet subtle. Once applied, it does require little blending to achieve that natural glowy look. I usually use the sponge applicator that it comes with for blending but sometimes end up using a brush too.

Since it’s a cream highlighter, it will not be best suited for oily skin girls. Though for my combination skin it works well. The staying power is not that great. I notice it slightly starts fading after 3-4 hours.

Nevertheless, I am quite happy with the purchase.

Price: Rs. 2420

Thank you for your honest review! I’ve seen many good reviews on it, but I also like to see both side of things. Nonetheless, it’s a very pretty highlighter!
