Planner Set-Up – Bullet Journal cum Ring-Bound

2018 Planner Set Up, Bullet Journal set up, kikki k planner, How I plan, bujo set up, plan with me, A5 size planner

I love planning. Making to-do lists every Sunday evening is one of the things that gets me excited for Monday mornings. I write downs ideas that I have for future blogs posts or videos, plan out my content, or even make packing lists. Before I invested in this beautiful mint green color Kikki K A5 size planner, I used to start planning in one notebook and then before finishing that one move on to another. I also made myself a bullet journal, thankfully I didn’t invest in the Leitchrum notebooks, because I know myself, and I knew I might not be able to keep up with this newfound attraction. I also used the Indian version of the Erin Condren planners, which I even showed the inside of in this blog post.

Blogging Advise : Why You Should Start A Blog Today

blogging tips, how to start a blog, blogging 101

If you are reading this post, then you have given blogging some thought before. In this post, I will tell you Why You Should Start Your Blog Today. I remember my first tryst with blogs. Going back 8-9 years, I stumbled upon a beauty blog while searching for a particular makeup product. I knew blogs existed, but I wasn’t aware that people write blogs for a living. I was so intrigued by that blog, I started searching for more content online. And I came across more and more information. Fast forward another year maybe, I stumbled upon YouTube channels and I was ADDICTED to them. I still am. I have learnt so much over past few years about makeup, skincare, haircare, decor, etc., all from either reading blogs or watching YouTube videos. Somewhere along the line, I knew I wanted to start a blog. I wanted to have my own little space on the internet, talking about beauty products.

How To Get Back On Track With 2018 Goals

how to achieve goals, 2018 goals, new years resolutions, 2018 resolutions

So the first month of 2018 has already passed by. It just feels like yesterday when I was reflecting over the year 2017 was and thinking about what goals I wanted to achieve in 2018. I am sure a lot of you have set some goals or resolutions for yourself for 2018. But have you kept up with them? Did you just do those for the first 10 days and then the excitement fizzled off? When I look back on 2017, I think of it as a year full of achievement. In one of my previous posts, I spoke about how I achieved the goals that I had set for myself in 2017. Hence, I started 2018 with a lot more determination and zeal and also with a feeling of accomplishment.

5 Podcasts Worth Listening To

podcasts, acast, at home with, happier,

Most evenings I go down to the park below my house for a walk. I usually walk for about 40-60 minutes, depending on how much time I have that day before my husband comes back from work. That 40 minutes to an hour is something that I really look forward to each day. Because that’s the time I listen to podcasts. I don’t like listening to music when I go down for a walk, that’s something I do when I do a proper workout. I think of my walk time as a win-win because I get out of the house, get some fresh air, do myself a favor by clocking in around 8000 steps and also gain some information by listening to podcasts. I used to listen to podcasts on the ‘Podcast’ app on my iPhone. But very recently, I wanted to listen to one particular podcast (which is there in this list) which wasn’t available on the Indian podcast store (or whatever it is called). So I downloaded this app called ‘Acast’ which had that podcast and now I’ve switched to this app completely.

New Year, New Me ?

LoveFashionMakeup, Ishita Khattar, New Year goals

2017 flew by so quickly. With a blink of an eye we are here in 2018. Ever since I was a kid new year brought about a new spark in me. But that spark would die off in a few days, let alone months. Every year I would set resolutions for myself on the last day or the year or the first day of the new year, only to be forgetting them after a couple of days. All throughout my school life a lot of my resolutions would be the same -‘lose weight’, ‘exercise more often’ ‘get good grades’ and so on. And I would never stick by them. Come college, I got busy with other things so I did not bother setting any resolutions. However, last year, 2017, was very different for me.
