As you can see from the title of this post, it is my second Empties post. Whoah!! *Pats self on the back* I am really excited to be writing this post. It feels so satisfying to finish products entirely. In an attempt to clear out my ever-growing beauty stash, I have been on a mission to use up the products I already have before buying more, and I think I have done fairly well. So here are the products I have used up and I will also tell you whether I am going to repurchase them or not.
- Bioderma Sensibio H2O Micellar Water
This product will feature in every single empties post of mine. This is by far the best makeup remover I have used. It is gentle yet effective. Might not be so effective to remove waterproof mascara but for everyday use it is my cult favorite.
Repurchase: Yes, without a doubt
- Kiehls’ Midnight Recover Eye Cream
I love Kiehls as a brand. I use a lot of their products and love most of them. I have been using the Creamy Avocado Eye Treatment eye cream for really long now. Decided to switch it up and bought this one. It is creamy and hydrating, but I wouldn’t say that it got rid my dark circles.
- Loreal UV Perfect Aqua Essence Sunscreen
Very light, water based sunscreen. I think this is my 3rd or the 4th tube. I really like this one as it does not leave any white cast on the face.
- Nykaa Shower Gel in Fresh Aqua
Nykaa recently launched their own bath and body products. I got their aqua range to try. I wasn’t quite impressed with the products. First of all, the packaging could have been little better and secondly, I found the fragrance of the Fresh Aqua range quite masculine.
- Kerastase Bain Divalent Balancing Shampoo
I don’t understand why in India we don’t get shampoos specifically made for oily scalp and dry hair. This is the only shampoo I found for this particular type of hair. I have been using it for a while now. This is my 3rd bottle I think. I like that it cleanses my scalp without making my hair feel dry.
- CK One Shock Street Edition EDT
It is a mixture of sweet and fruity but not too over powering. I really liked this for day time and office wear. The scent lasts a long time which is what I look for in everyday perfumes.
Repurchase: Maybe, I like to try out different perfumes
- Kiehl’s Midnight Recover Concentrate
As I said before, I use a lot of products from Kiehl’s. This is one of my favourite products from them. I love this serum. I apply it at night on most days and wake up to smoother and a bright glowy face.
- Sarah Chapman Skinesis Intense Hydrating Booster
I use it in the mornings. The texture is of a serum but very a very hydrating one. It feels light on the skin and disappears almost as soon as you apply it.
Repurchase: Maybe not.
- MAC Mineralize Skin Finish
I love this compact from MAC. It is a very finely milled powder, which does not feel or look like anything when applied. But trust me, the days when you don’t apply it, you will notice a difference. It just evens out the complexion. It does not mattify the face or prevents shine, but it sets the makeup in place and gets rid of the cakeyness.
- Olay 7 Effects Night Cream
A very light yet extremely moisturizing night cream. Feels very hydrating on the skin.
- Maybelline Colossal Liner
I liked it liner but thought it dries up quickly. Also, I am into liquid liner these days so don’t like the felt tip ones so much. But overall, for the price, it is a decent product.
Repurchase: Maybe yes.
