Kiehl’s Midnight Recovery Concentrate

Kiehl’s is one brand that I absolutely love. I own a lot of their products. There is something about the brand which gives a feeling that you are getting exactly what you are paying for. Kiehl’s Midnight Recovery Concentrate is one of Kiehl’s best-selling product. I would say it is a genie in a bottle.

My take on the Product

It comes in a blue coloured glass bottles with a dropper. Since it is a glass bottle, I don’t carry it with me when I am travelling. Too scared it will break. Other than the packaging there is nothing about the product to not like. Even though it is in oil form, it is very lightweight and gets absorbed on to your skin after sometime. It has a wonderful, light, lavender fragrance. Lavender is known for its calming properties.

I have used it every single night for a continuous period of at least 4 months and noticed a difference in my skin. My skin looked supple, hydrated and glowy. It helped my skin look less uneven. Lately, I have stopped using it daily, not for any particular reason, only that I have become slightly lazy. I use it 3-4 times in a week. But the days when I feel my skin is not behaving properly or it needs that extra boost of hydration, this is my go to product.

2-3 drops after cleansing and toning.

Can be used alone or you can top it up with a night cream/ moisturizer.

The Sales Assistant at the Kiehl’s store recommend that you should pat the product onto your skin instead of massaging it.

Rs. 3300 for 30 ml.

It is an expensive product but it lasts for ages. I have been using mine for over 8 months now and I still have a lot more to go.

Such an apt review. Can’t wait to try this oil now. But I feel that bio oil is another miracle product on similar lines as this one. Please review bio oil as well some time 🙂

Bio oil is also very good. But it helps mostly in reducing scars and marks.
