A perfume is not just a beauty product. Do you ever smell a faint scent and it brings back an old memory? Scent is the most powerful memory trigger. I am very picky about my perfumes. I love a good, long lasting fragrance. I do believe in investing in good brands. I do love to try out different scents in search for my ‘signature scent’. But today I am listing down my top 5 perfumes.
Chanel Coco Mademoiselle – Eau de Parfum
This is by far by favorite scent. I really want to make it my ‘signature scent’ – the one people associate you with. But it is too expensive to be worn everyday. I use it on special occasions. It lasts a really really long time. If I wear it at night, I can smell it the next day too. It is a timeless classic Chanel fragrance. It is fresh, fruity, floral – the perfect feminine scent.
Ralph by Ralph Lauren – Eau de Toilette
Though it is not a very unique scent, I like using it on a day to day basis because the smell lasts for a very long time. It is very college-going scent, if you know what I mean. It is a mixture of sporty and fruity scents. Click here to buy.
D&G Anthology L’Imperatrice 3
I haven’t ever heard anything about this one before nor seen it on any of the beauty blogs. But at a duty free store, I randomly picked it up because it was on discount and I LOVE it. It came as a surprise. It was actually my signature scent. Quite mild but hints of fruity and floral but nothing overpowering. I have been looking everywhere for this one but haven’t found it yet.
See by Chole – Eau de Parfum
I recently picked this one up because it was a much raved perfumes in the blogging sphere. The scent is quite different from what I usually like and have in my collection. That is probably also one reason why I like it so much. It is a combination of musky and fruity scents. I like to wear it during the day.
Chanel Chance – Eau de Parfum
I think Chanel makes he best perfumes. They are the most long lasting perfumes I have ever tested. It is a romantic floral scent. It smells so chic, elegant, feminine and sexy.
